The workshop will explore the movements and rhythms of flamenco together with dance teacher Marja Rautakorpi and guitarist Juho Koskimies. Everyone is welcome to join, no previous experience is necessary. The workshop starts at 5pm, but you can hop along anytime between 5pm and 6 pm.

Marja Rautakorpi is a Finnish new generation flamenco dancer and dance teacher who explores new ways of approaching flamenco both physically and musically. Rautakorpi emphasises the shared physical ground of sound and movement and encourages listening to the interconnections between the arts rather than labelling them. Her work is summed up in three theses: the dancer is the musician, dance is a dialogue and multidisciplinary collaboration is always a new possibility.

Juho Koskimies has performed as a flamenco guitarist in solo concerts and dance productions. Koskimies' music combines the harmonic language of flamenco with Finnish melancholy.

Note: Rocío Molina's performances are sold out.
