Introduction
Open Office, jointly organised by Zodiak, Cirko and Dance House Helsinki, offers inspiring keynote talks, information, space and time for working together, as well as opportunities to meet colleagues and share experiences within the community. Open Office is organised in a pop-up format approximately once a month.
You can come to Open Office with questions that are currently relevant to you, share updates, or simply work in good company. Would you like one-to-one sparring or a discussion? For more information, contact Elina Ruoho-Kurola / Zodiak: elina.ruoho-kurola@zodiak.fi. Sparring sessions can also be arranged remotely, primarily for those based outside the Helsinki metropolitan area.

The expert guest for the August Open Office is Emmy Astbury. Astbury works as Senior Producer at Cullberg, one of Sweden’s leading contemporary dance companies, where she is responsible for the company’s international productions and touring activities. With more than 20 years of experience in the performing arts, Astbury specialises in contemporary dance, artistic collaboration, production and development work within the Nordic and international arts scene.
Open Office offers an opportunity to book a one-to-one meeting with Astbury. Three 30-minute discussion slots are available. Please send your booking request by email to Elina Ruoho-Kurola (firstname.lastname@zodiak.fi).
Astbury will also be visiting Helsinki to speak at the Big Stage Lab seminar series organised by Helsinki City Theatre on Thu 20 August. The deadline for registration for the HCT seminar is Sun 16 August. See the Helsinki City Theatre website for further information.
