Susanna Leinonen Company's double bill is fireworks of ballet and contemporary dance!
Susanna Leinonen's acclaimed classic, Trickle Green Oak, commissioned for the Finnish National Ballet, returns to the stage. The work combines ballet technique with movement language that emphasizes Leinonen's strength and vulnerability with four male dancers.
The second work of the evening, Touch of Gravity, dazzles with its visuals. Dancers defy gravity with a slow-motion movement soaring off the floor. Video footage projected onto the stage and precise dance technique immerse the viewer in a surreal world.
2% of the ticket revenue from the performances will be donated to the Cancer Foundation's Pink Ribbon collection.
