The programme of Dance House Helsinki offers high quality, diverse and topical programme to a large variety of audiences. The Programme Partners of Dance House Helsinki are Zodiak - Center for new dance, Dance Theatre Hurjaruuth, Tero Saarinen Company and Cirko - Center for new cirkus. In addition, Dance House Helsinki serves as a key venue for the Helsinki Festival.
Dance House Helsinki's programme also includes performances and events from other operators in the field of dance and culture. The House also presents its own, independently funded projects.
Cirko - Center for New Circus
Cirko is a performance and production centre that promotes the development of contemporary circus as an art form. Its mission is to provide high quality and engaging circus arts to the public.
Dance Theatre Hurjaruuth
Dance Theatre Hurjaruuth, concentrating on children’s theatre, combines dance, theatre, circus, visual arts and music in a bold manner.
Tero Saarinen Company
Known for insightful fusions of the classic and the contemporary, Tero Saarinen Company has performed at leading venues in 40 countries on all continents. Ranked among Europe’s top contemporary dance groups, TSC will use the Erkko Hall for its large-scale productions in Helsinki.
Zodiak – Center for New Dance
Zodiak is the key production and performance centre of contemporary dance and choreographies in Finland. Creating and communality are emphasised in its operations.
