Study trip to London 20.-23.10.2026
NEWSAs part of the Loisto project and in collaboration with Circus & Dance Finland, Dance House Helsinki is organising a study trip to London from 20–23 October 2026. During the three-day visit, participants will explore key dance organisations and the local culture field. The aim of the trip is to gain insight into London’s production environment and into how local organisations and venues build partnerships with dance makers.
Who is it for?
The study trip is intended for professionals working in the field of dance — including producers, managing directors and artists — who have experience in international work and wish to familiarise themselves more closely with London-based organisations that produce and present dance, as well as their operating models. Seven participants will be selected for the trip.
Travel and accommodation support
Dance House Helsinki will cover participants’ travel and accommodation expenses and will arrange the travel logistics. In addition, participants will receive a ticket to one performance and a shared dinner. No daily allowances will be paid, as this is a travel grant. Applicants should take London’s cost of living into consideration when applying for the trip. Each participant is responsible for applying for and paying for the UK ETA electronic travel authorisation required for entry to the United Kingdom (cost: £20).
The programme will be confirmed closer to the travel dates.
Please apply by 7.6.2026. Dance House Helsinki will inform about the confirmations to the applicants by 12.6.2026.
