Use of the online store is subject to the online store customer (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer”) accepting these Terms and Conditions.

Online Store Software Provider

The online store service provider of Dance House Helsinki is Tixly Ticketing (Tix Ticketing AB / 559109-3181). Tixly Ticketing is not responsible for the programme of Dance House Helsinki. Dance House Helsinki forwards customer feedback concerning the sales system and any potential technical issues to the service provider. In case of problems, please contact Dance House Helsinki at: info@tanssintalo.fi.

Payment Methods

The payment service provider and payment processing service for the online store is Paytrail Oyj (Business ID 2122839-7, address: Innova 2, Lutakonaukio 7, 40100 Jyväskylä, payment service terms: paytrail.com/en/consumer/information-about-paying), in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj will appear as the payee on your bank statement or credit card invoice and will forward the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj holds a payment institution licence.

Customers may also purchase tickets using ePassi and Smartum cultural benefit payment methods in the online store and at the ticket desk. The cultural benefit is personal and can only be used to purchase one ticket.

Tickets

A ticket grants access to the event indicated on the ticket, provided that the barcode is valid and the ticket details are readable. Tickets may not be copied or used more than once. Tickets may be transferred to another person unless clearly stated on the website and/or ticket that the ticket is personal. Tickets may not be resold for commercial purposes. Tickets may not be offered in competitions or in connection with the promotion of any other product or service without the written consent of the event organiser.

Ticket prices are stated in the event marketing communications. The ticket price includes a service fee. Additional delivery-specific fees or charges may apply and will be indicated at the time of purchase.

The service fee covers the costs arising from ticket sales and ticketing administration. The service fee will not be refunded if the event is postponed or cancelled, or if the programme or schedule changes. Dance House Helsinki will also not refund any order or delivery-specific charges.

Any discounts (for example for special groups) are always mentioned in the event information. Holders of discounted tickets must be prepared to provide proof of eligibility for the discount upon arrival at the event.

Ticket Reservations

It is not possible to reserve tickets through the online store. For group sales enquiries, customers may contact: info@tanssintalo.fi.

Ticket Exchange

Depending on the event, logged-in customers may be able to exchange their tickets free of charge via self-service in the online store for another performance of the same production.

Ticket Ordering and Delivery Terms

The product will be delivered at the time of purchase using the delivery method selected by the customer. Tickets can also be downloaded from the Dance House Helsinki website via the customer account if purchased while logged in. Please check the received product carefully. If delivery fails, the customer may contact Dance House Helsinki customer service: info@tanssintalo.fi.

Purchased products cannot be returned. If the customer’s contact details were not provided at the time of purchase or are incorrect, Dance House Helsinki or the event organiser shall not be liable in situations where an error is detected in the product information but the customer cannot be contacted due to missing contact details. In such cases, the product has no right of exchange, complaint, or modification.

Depending on the event, Dance House Helsinki acts either as the reseller of the product or as the responsible event organiser. The responsible event organiser is indicated on the event programme page: tanssintalo.fi/en/programme. The event organiser is responsible for the content of the event, including the programme and any changes, event cancellation and related costs, as well as obligations under Section 2 of the Finnish Value Added Tax Act (940/1999).

The event organiser may set additional terms for purchasing and using the product that differ from these terms. Any such deviations will always be clearly stated in the event information.

Event Changes

The customer is responsible for checking event-related information and possible changes (e.g. date, performers) as well as any cancellation on the event website. Customers will be informed of possible schedule changes or cancellations using the contact details provided at the time of purchase.

The event organiser will separately decide and communicate whether tickets can be transferred or refunded in situations other than event cancellation. If the event is cancelled, the ticket price will be refunded to the customer, excluding the service fee. In cases where the customer is entitled to a refund due to cancellation, the refund will primarily be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

The ticket price will not be refunded if the cancellation is due to the bankruptcy or insolvency of the event organiser and Dance House Helsinki has already transferred the ticket sales revenue to the event organiser. Dance House Helsinki or the event organiser are not responsible for any indirect costs incurred by the customer due to changes or cancellations.

Dance House Helsinki reserves the right to correct pricing or event information errors caused by human, technical or other reasons. In such cases, Dance House Helsinki may change the seating within the same price category or move the booking to another price category, in which case any price difference will be refunded to the customer. Dance House Helsinki also reserves the right to cancel purchased tickets and refund the ticket price and service fee.

Within the limits defined by the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (38/1978) or other applicable legislation, Dance House Helsinki's liability for compensation for an individual order is limited to the total amount paid by the customer for tickets and service fees.

Delivery Terms for Other Products

In addition to tickets, Dance House Helsinki may sell and distribute other products. Product prices include VAT and, for products delivered by post, shipping costs. For restaurant products where Dance House Helsinki acts as a reseller, the price may also include a service fee. The service fee will not be refunded if the event is postponed or cancelled, or if the programme or schedule changes.

Dance House Helsinki is not responsible for delays or damages occurring during the delivery of posted products. For delivery-related questions, customers may contact customer service: info@tanssintalo.fi.
